Many years ago I started a webpage about sailing in Cork, Ireland.
Somewhat unoriginally my web page was called Rob’s sailing pages. I suppose at the time it was really an early form of a blog.
Many years passed and social media came along and Rob’s sailing pages fell by the wayside. I suppose not many people ever read it but it had its viewership. I suppose like everything else it got to the stage that my various musings and warblings were irrelevant.
But after many years had passed I concluded that when one is writing on any form of social media one tends to write content that suits the platform that you happen to be on at the time; so I thought maybe it would be nice to be independent again.
So I bought a little space and got a domain name and here I am back again…
